Subaru Canada VIP Program

Saturday, April 4th, 2009

This is big news if you are in the market for new wheels and want to save some serious money?

“Subaru’s Canadian VIP Program allows IMBA Canada members to purchase or lease any new Subaru* saving up to $3,500 off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.

To take advantage of this benefit, simply contact the IMBA Canada office before shopping for a Subaru. Our staff will arrange to have a letter of confirmation mailed to you as well as to your pre-selected local dealer. The letter will indicate that as an IMBA member you are eligible to purchase or lease the car at the VIP price. You must be a member of IMBA Canada for 6 months before you qualify for the VIP Partners Program. Please contact the IMBA Canada office for program details, 705-441-6901 or Canada@imba.com”

Our famous IMBA Trail Care Crew put tens of thousands of miles on their Subaru’s every year crossing North America to teach trail clinics. You’ll know why they are the official vehicle of IMBA after your test drive.

MTCA - TSC Final Meeting

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

March 12th was the last meeting of the Trails Strategy Committee in Richmond, BC. We added the last  touches to the final draft which will then be submitted to government.

All of the input from the public meetings, online submissions, faxes and e-mails were compiled in over 300 pages of which were rendered down to the key points. These points were included in the final draft so if your feedback was similar to many others, your thoughts were included.

With a provincial election in May, there will likely not be any decisions on the draft until after a new political mandate is determined. I’ll keep you informed once we get the word of some forward motion.
